I designed posters, invitations, and additional collateral for the nonprofit, Chicago Youth Program’s fundraising events. The poster and scorecard for the bowling event were designed with a retro bowling esthetic. I also used the Chicago flag as my inspiration for the color scheme and inserted retro shapes to represent the four stars of the flag. The Back to School Bar Crawl poster appeared as if it was drawn on a chalk board by using a handwritten and chalk-like font. For the Pizza Party at Lagunitas Brewing Company, I wanted to create a throwback design showcasing the popularity of 1990’s pizza parties. In order to achieve this, I used patterns, colors, and a layout that represent 90’s designs and fashions. Each event had an overwhelming turnout and raised significant amounts of money to help Chicago children. I used Illustrator and InDesign to create all the posters and the score sheet.
