ADAS Workshop

The ADAS Workshop is an event organized by the Advanced Vehicle Technologies Competitions group at Argonne National Laboratory and is part of the EcoCar3 competition. As part of the EcoCar 3 competition, this workshop focuses on training students to familiarize them with the NXP hardware they will be using this year for their ADAS systems. This system is used to detect and track vehicles on the road, allowing their Camaro to navigate through traffic more safely and efficiently.

AVTC wanted the design of the t-shirts to emphasize the technologies that the students would be working with during this event. To do this I used imagery commonly used when depicting sensors and radio waves, which is what this tech uses to make driving safer and smoother. I created several concepts that high light these ideas, as well as incorporating iconography of the host city of Austin Texas.

After submitting the concepts AVTC decided to go with the option that had imagery of the ADAS system with the iconic EcoCar3 Chevrolet Camaro. AVTC also wanted to use the colors of NXP, the company that hosted the event and provided the ADAS systems to the students for the workshop.
